FORBES: Penthouse in San Francisco Seeks Record $42 Million

March 14, 2017

A new penthouse residence at 181 Fremont is listed for $42 million—a record asking-price for a condo in San Francisco. Sitting on the 70th floor of the luxury development, the 6,941-square-foot, five-bedroom, five-bathroom residence has panoramic views of the city, framed by floor-to-ceiling windows. It will be ready for occupancy in 2018, according to the project’s developer, Jay Paul Company. San Francisco landmarks like the Transamerica Pyramid and Golden Gate Bridge are in full view from the foyer, while the living room overlooks Sausalito and Treasure Island. The apartment also features a transparent fireplace, and a den with a wet bar and a wine tower. 181 Fremont, which was designed by Orlando Diaz-Azcuy, is one of several new luxury condo projects underway in San Francisco.
