181 Fremont is already breaking records before its doors are even open. The building’s construction required the digging of the deepest construction shaft in San Francisco history in order to install 40 caissons into SoMa bedrock. When complete, 181 Fremont will be home to the highest luxury condos not only in San Francisco but in the entire Western United States. And those are not the building’s only superlatives: the project is designed to meet the specifications of LEED Platinum, the highest standard in sustainability.
