DWELL: San Francisco’s Most Expensive Home Is a Penthouse Over the Facebook Offices
November 19, 2019
The 7,000-square-foot Grand Penthouse sits at the top floor of the same building that houses Facebook’s and Instagram’s offices.
From the outside, the award-winning tower designed by Heller Manus Architects is iconic for its saw-tooth-patterned exoskeleton. The mixed-use building, completed in 2018, is now home to Facebook’s headquarters in San Francisco. Also offering 55 private residences, crowning it all is a full-floor Grand Penthouse—now listed as a turn-key sale with interior design by Mary Ta and Lars Hypko of MASS Beverly.
Designed by Heller Manus Architects, 181 Fremont Street is located in San Francisco’s newly coined East Cut neighborhood and soars 700 feet tall.
