CURBED SF: Facebook Coming to San Francisco’s 181 Fremont

Facebook has just signed what is being described in the San Francisco Business Times as the “largest office lease in three years”—in the city’s ultratall mixed use luxury condominium tower, 181 Fremont. The company, which will be adding 436,000 square feet of office space with this lease, will substantially increase their total footprint, which currently includes their Menlo Park headquarters, designed by Frank Gehry. The 802-foot-tall 181 Fremont, which has an eye-catching saw-tooth pattern exoskeleton, was designed by Heller Manus Architects and developed by Jay Paul Company. The building will be complete in early 2018.
